Fx Cartel Book – FX Networks has acquired the rights to adapt Don Winslow’s Cartel Trilogy into a television series. The series is based on Winslow’s 2005 novel The Power of the Dog, the 2015 sequel The Cartel, and the 2019 sequel The Edge, which is currently #3 on the NY Times bestseller list.

The deal was brokered by John Landgraf, CEO of FX Networks and FX Productions, and Winslow and Shane Salerno, along with Ridley Scott, will serve as executive producers.

The book trilogy spans 45 years and follows DEA agent Art Keller through America’s long war on drugs.
